Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Madam Catherine Abenlema Afeku has advised Ghanaian creative artists to stop misusing their gains and start making good plans for their future.
The minister said this in an interview with Feeling Daddy on Takoradi based Empire FM during the weekends where she attended late CK Mann’s funeral.
During the interview, she said a lot of Ghanaian celebrities from the creative arts industry have died out of poverty because they did not make good use of their wealth and fame when they had the chance.
“It is incumbent on social media to empower our people that when you’re at the peak of your career, save some of the money, join some of the pension schemes like the teachers and other people do so that in your golden years you will live off your talent.
“That should be the line of thinking because as a nation, everyone matters and everyone is important,” she advised.
