Actress Lydia Forson has asked Ghanaians to make their leaders accountable for their stewardship and stop following blindly.
According to her, leaders are not superiors because without the people they have no power and therefore need to be held accountable for their actions.
She indicated that the culture of following blindly and not questioning authority should be buried because it will lead the country nowhere.
She said “We’ve got to stop this culture of NOT questioning authority because we see them as superior to us. Every leader – from politician to religious; is ACCOUNTABLE to their following, without us they have no power. Our blind following will lead us to jump of a clif”.
