In the aftermath of the tragic Saturday night explosion at Atomic Junction, many Ghanaians wondered how long it would be until a prophet stepped up with their cooked prophecy claiming they prophesied it in advance.
It’s nothing new in Ghana, it happens all the time that so-called ‘men of God’ find the aftermath of a tragedy as the best time to sell their services.
Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministries, claims he saw an impending fire coming to hit Ghana in his December 31 2016 predictions for 2017.
He said he didn’t exactly see a gas explosion but just a fire disaster, yet his words show he believes he prophesied this disaster.
Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah
“On 31st December, 2016, God shows me a lot of things that will happen in the following year. This 31st I didn’t see anything concerning the Atomic junction gas explosion but I predicted a fire tragedy and we prayed about it.” he said.
He added: “I told one of the brothers something will happen in Accra and if it doesn’t rain it will be disastrous. I didn’t talk about gas but in my church, I said about a fire that will cause damage”
Owusu Bempah is trying to have his cake and eat it too, claiming he didn’t directly prophesy the disaster which is true, but also implying what he prophesied had come true with Saturday’s blast.
Anything to grab some new followers into his church.
