The new Central Regional General Manager of the Electricity Company of Ghana, Ing. Dr. Kwabena Adomah, has charged staff of the company in the region to work hard to improve productivity.
According to Ing. Dr. Adomah, his vision among other things, is to improve the region’s achievements.
This, he mentioned cannot be achieved if staff did not work hard.
In an interview with the Daily Guide, Ing. Dr. Adomah stated that, “I want to improve the company’s achievements in the region especially in the areas of supply stability and revenue collection.”
To make this a reality, the new General Manager has cautioned that perpetual lateness of staff and injudicious use of the Company’s resources would not be countenanced under his watch.
He said ECG as a Company, cherishes its numerous customers and always desire to build and maintain a cordial relationship with them.
He further said, continuous vegetation control and patrol of ECG’s network to check and identify defects would be given a priority in order to mitigate power interruptions.
He finally appealed to staff in the region to work together as a united force to meet the company’s vision of becoming one of the best electricity distribution companies in the West African sub-region.
Ing. Dr. Adomah, who has over 26 years working experience with the Electricity Company of Ghana, recently replaced Mr. Anokye Abebreseh as the General Manager for the region.
