Felicia Kufuor together with 10 others were recently sentenced to a combined prison term of 139 years for drug related offences in the United Kingdom (UK).
Former President, John Agyekum Kufuor has denied any relation with Felicia Kufour, who has been incarcerated for drug related offences in the United Kingdom (UK).
A barrage of social media posts have suggested family ties between the embattled lady and the former President with some describing her as Mr Kufuor’s niece as a result of the common surnames.
But a statement from the office of the former President has stressed that the lady in question has no blood relation with the former leader.
“The former president wants to make it known to all and sundry that that individual is not known to him and is no niece or relative of his,” Senior Aide to Mr Kufuor, said in a statement.
