Ghana’s “Dancehall King”, Shatta Wale, has for the first time named a man of God that he listens to and takes his spiritual “daily bread” from in the person of Prophet Badu Kobi.
For anyone who has even the slightest idea of who Shatta Wale is, to hear Shatta Wale, Ghana’s number one “bad man” speak of religion, or endorse a man of God – any man of God – would come as a great surprise. Nevertheless, this is exactly what Shatta Wale has done.
Maybe it’s just us, but maybe Shatta visit to the Flagstaff House may have done more than just getting him a gold-plated platter from the presidency with his name on it.
In a series of social media post, Shatta Wale has urged Ghana’s youth to seek a stronger relationship with God, backing a lot of his post with quotes from the scripture.
“Am about to present my Birthday Gift from the President of Ghana to One man of God I listen to a lot Prophet Emmanuel Kobi,” wrote Wale.
Reminiscent of his initial response to President Nana Akuffo Addo’s tweet, Wale goes on to say that he hopes he’s birthday present will be ready when he gets to church next.
