Also known as Mr All 4 Real, Amponsah explained that his reason to join the political race is to give his thought and supports to the progress of his constituency and Ghana at large.
Amponsah further revealed that his love for politics has grown stronger. This he said is because certain pertinent issues in the country are not given critical attention.
Asked which political party’s ticket he’ll contest come 2020, Ofori Amponsah was swift to add that he will choose between the two biggest political parties in Ghana, NPP and NDC when the time is due.
“I’m a politician, I love politics, I know whatever is happening in politics and I follow a lot of things so now Ofori Amponsah the politician has just shown up. I’ll contest for Member of Parliament in my constituency… I don’t like MUSIGA, I’m heading to parliament direct in 2020. I’m serious about this parliamentary ambition because politics is something we can all give our quota to help change the dynamics in our country and constituency.
“I believe one day it’s a possibility because the way I perceive things happening in this country, makes me sad sometimes. So if I’ve what it takes to help change situations why not… I’ve a lot of ideas. I can state emphatically that leadership is common sense and not rocket-science or about your educational qualifications. Someone who hasn’t gotten to this status can even do better than the one with high pedigree. I’ll not go independent as candidate, I’ll choose either NDC or NPP… I’ve already decided on which party’s ticket I’ll run in 2020 but I’m hiding it for now.” Ofori Amponsah said.
