1 1/2 cups long grain white rice
Salt to taste
2-3 bay leaves
1/3 cup butter
1/2 medium yellow onion, finely diced
Soften butter over medium warmth in extensive pot. Include onion and sauté gently for 5-6 minutes.
Blend in rice grains to coat in spread. Include bay leaves.
Cover,let it boil and lessen warmth to low and cook 5 minutes.
Turn warmth off rice, yet keep on hot burner for 10 minutes to steam.
Cushion rice with fork, remove bay leaves and serve as wanted.
