Abu Lamine: If Any Team Will Stop Us, It Won’t Be CARA

A member of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Alhaji Abu Lamine has affirmed that there is no way they will be eliminated by Congolese side CARA in the first round of the Confederations Cup. 

The Porcupine Warriors will open their African Campaign this weekend, against the seven time Congolese Champions at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Ahead of the game on Sunday, Alhaji Abu Lamine intimated, if ay team will beat them it will not be CARA.

“We have to psyche our players very well. The only bit of pitfall is the fact that the local league hasn’t started but we have arranged a number of friendlies games lined up after the first leg, to keep the players active,” he told Zylofon FM.

“And if any club will beat us it won’t be CARA.”

Kumasi Asante Kotoko were in the final of the competition in the maiden edition, where they were beaten by Accra Hearts of Oak.
